Creating a shared future through music

We partner with organizations that believe in the power of music and the performing arts to bring people together and help build a more inclusive society.

Our mission

We work to contribute to a better society through the unifying power of music and music-making. Our grants support not-for-profit organisations delivering high-quality music and performing arts projects that strengthen education, widen public access and promote inclusion in cultural life. We place emphasis on accessibility and initiatives that enable more people to experience, develop and be inspired by music.

Our history

Signatur was established in 2018 with support from The Karlsson Játiva Charitable Foundation (KJCF). Beginning in Sweden, our grant-making has grown steadily over time. Today, we are based in Stockholm and support projects across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, strengthening cultural life and accessibility across the Nordic region.

Annual report

Our annual report brings together insight, learning and outcomes from the projects we support.

Supporting Signatur

We work in partnership with funders who share our belief in the value of music and performing arts. Our work is made possible through philanthropic support. Since 2018, our founder, KJCF, has supported Signatur through annual grants. We are always open to conversations with other funders who are interested in our mission and would like to explore thoughtful, aligned ways to support our work.
