Esbjerg Ensemble
Young composers shaping the music of the future.
The Esbjerg Ensemble organises an annual, well-established composers’ workshop in spring 2026, where ten young composition students from Nordic conservatoires are invited to write and rehearse new acoustic works together with professional musicians. The course focuses on mentoring, feedback, and artistic development, and concludes with a public concert followed by a tour to Helsinki, Oslo, and Gothenburg.
The purpose of the workshop is to give young composers the opportunity to work intensively on their pieces and hear them performed by professional musicians.
